This adorable little guy came to us yesterday from Winnebago County Animal Services. His hind leg is severely broken and very painful. Sadly, his owner was homeless and unable to treat Benzo’s extensive injury, so he made the heartbreaking decision to surrender him so he could receive the care he deserves.

Julien is a charming dog with a handsome appearance irresistible "puppy eyes". He is affectionate and to snuggle, always wagging his tail. However, he has scars on his face and legs, indicating that he may have been attacked the past and may be nervous around other dogs.

A kind soul we saved from our Operation Lend a Hand mission. We pulled this guy with a nasty neck wound from an abandoned property, and lovingly named him Ozark. The conditions were deplorable, and this is just one of the 8 animals we pulled from that location.
